Never over-steep again.
Built-in brew timer with the right temperature and steep time for every tea. Just tap start.
Why timing matters
Over-steeping is the #1 reason people think they don't like tea. Steep green tea for 5 minutes in boiling water and it's bitter, astringent, and unpleasant. Steep it for 2 minutes at the right temperature and it's smooth, sweet, and completely different.
The problem is that every tea has different requirements. Black tea can handle boiling water and longer steeps. Green tea needs cooler water and shorter times. Oolong falls somewhere in between. Remembering all of this is annoying.
That's why Resteeped has a built-in timer.
How it works
- Browse to any tea in the database (8,000+ to choose from)
- See the recommended brew settings for that specific tea: water temperature, steep time, and leaf amount
- Tap to start the timer. Walk away. You'll get a notification when it's done.
- Re-steep? Many teas (especially oolongs) get better on the second or third steep. The timer tracks that too.
